....... really really sucks - we have to do things, earn a living, pay bills, take care of people and in general deal with a lot of stuff - adulthood is totally overrated - i remember when i was a kid my biggest worry was to do well on a test or how to knock the other kids down in a game - it never was so complicated -
The scariest part about responsibility is fear of screw ups - don't get me wrong its not the fear that you may regret what you did, but its the fear of what people may think about what you did - Unfortunately, once you get past the age of braces, responsibility doesnt go away. It cant be avoided. Either someone makes us face it or we suffer the consequences.

...and then after this stage comes the stage where you make peace with yourself. For there is only so much stress that you can handle without messing up the job. So you decide-" hey, I am going to do my best and leave the rest. I cannot be responsible for (or atleast I will give myself the impression that I cannot be reponsible for) something that I poured my heart into and things got messed up anyways. That sure helps retain sanity.
